I can now tell you that I’ve completed all three marathons successfully. THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone who has contributed to my fundraising. So proud to have helped Rescue Remedies.

I am running three marathons in 7 weeks to celebrate my 70th birthday - Vilnius in September, (NOW COMPLETED!), the Abingdon marathon on 19th October and the New York marathon on 2nd November. I don’t usually run for charity as I’ve been sponsored on occasions previously, so I now leave fund raising to those who are new to marathon running. But the lovely rescue I volunteer at is really struggling for funds at the moment - the costs of cat food and vet's bills are soaring, and they are finding it difficult to keep up with the bills. Although the charity is named Rescue Remedies Dog Rescue, they help both cats and dogs, and along with several others I volunteer as a cat cuddler, helping to socialise the cats and kittens and increase their chances of finding homes.

More and more cats come into the rescue every week, and every penny donated will go towards their care. So if anyone can spare anything - even a small donation - I and the animals would be so very grateful.
