Raising awareness for missing dog Mabel from the highest peak in England.

This is a hike to the highest point in England, to raise awareness for missing spaniel Mabel, and to raise much needed funds for the charity behind the campaign to find her.

The ladies volunteering to take this challenge are Sarah and Paula. They both work at Trumacar Nursery and Community Primary School in Heysham, and didn't know Mabels family or the charity before Mabel went missing...but as with the rest of the nation, Mabels story has touched their hearts and they have been doing what they can to help. Mabel disappeared from her farm, in Inskip, Lancs PR4 on the morning of Friday 10th April 2026.She is an 18 month microchipped old red cocker spaniel with a white chest and was wearing an orange and yellow collar.

She has a long docked tail and a wrinkled brow. Mabel is the absolute centre of her family. Her mum and dad and the four children are broken. With the help of Beautys Legacy, a registered animal welfare charity, a campaign for Mabel has been launched. Approximately 10,000 flyers have so far been distributed. Huge 8 foot banners, posters, and printed t shirts have also been made and distributed. We have had national and local TV and radio coverage, national and local newspaper coverage, and cameras, drones and thermal scopes have been deployed in an effort to find her.

A £10,000 REWARD has been put up for her safe return.

Join the ladies on 6th June at the base of Scafell Pike, seathewaite farm, at 9 am, to climb the highest mountain in England, and have your photos taken with them and the huge banner. Show your support cheering them on and welcoming them back down. They will be taking flyers to give to hikers and they will be putting the banner up at the top of the mountain.

Please show your support, by donating anything you can, to help the charity continue it's work to help families ripped apart by pet theft, to help reunite lost animals and to combat animal cruelty of all kinds.
