Story
As a family, supporting children and young people has always been at the heart of what we do, both at home and through our family-run business.
That’s why this year we’re taking on Tough Mudder together to raise money for PYCP (Pilton Youth Community Project), a local charity that is incredibly close to our hearts.
Our muddy team includes myself (Lisa), my husband Chris, our older boys Jamie and Declan and Jamie’s fiancée Emma — all taking on the 15K Tough Mudder — while our younger two, Harris (10) and Meadow (9), will be bravely tackling the children’s 3K course too!
PYCP does amazing work supporting children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping create positive opportunities, trusted relationships and safe spaces outside school hours. Their work helps young people build confidence, stay engaged, and avoid getting drawn into negative situations, ultimately improving outcomes and life chances for so many local families.
This cause is especially meaningful to us because Chris volunteers as Treasurer for PYCP and sees first-hand the incredible impact the charity has within the community.
As founders of Little Lunches, a business built around children’s wellbeing, healthy development and improving outcomes for young people, supporting PYCP feels like a natural extension of the values we live and work by every day.
Declan is also part of the Little Lunches team, making this a real family effort for a cause we all genuinely believe in.
We’ll no doubt be covered in mud, exhausted and questioning our choices by the end of it… but if we can help raise valuable funds for PYCP along the way, every obstacle will be worth it.
Thank you so much for supporting us. Every donation, big or small, will help PYCP continue their incredible work with local children and young people who need it most.
