🚴‍♀️ 440km. 5,500m of climbing. 3 days. One mission.

I’m returning to the saddle (not like I ever left it!) this autumn to cycle from Bilbao to Madrid — a ride with a reason - supporting Cyclists Fighting Cancer and 20 new hospitals!

Last year, I joined this ride to help raise funds for sports equipment for children undergoing cancer treatment. Seeing the impact our efforts had on oncology units across the UK was incredibly moving — and it inspired me to come back and do even more.

This year, through Explore 2025, we’re aiming to raise £40,000 to fund 20 infusion trikes for 20 children’s hospitals. These specially adapted trikes allow children to stay active while receiving treatment. Equipped with IV pumps and bags, they give young patients the freedom to move, play, and reclaim a sense of normalcy — even during hospital stays.

The first UK trial is already underway at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, and with your help, we can bring this life-changing mobility to many more children across the country.
