On June 7th, I will be taking part in Trek 26 Jurassic Coast 2025 to make a small difference towards this cruel disease and help Alzheimer’s Society.

Having seen many friends and families suffer from this terrible disease through the years, we are now sadly living with it daily, since our lovely Dad developed Vascular Dementia with Alzheimers. To witness a strong, intelligent, vocal and happy man, deteriorate into a world where his memory and words are lost, and he relies on others for everything, is utterly heartbreaking. There are so many others going through this and much worse.

Alzheimer's Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
