I am championing this ride along with another 21 riders and will be cycling 390 miles and climbing 25,830 feet of elevation to raise vital funds for Dreams Come True and the children we support; children with disabilities, life-limiting conditions and serious illnesses who live in the most socially deprived areas of the country. 29% of children live in poverty in the UK (nearly 1 in every 3 children) and the likelihood of children living in poverty is higher for disabled children. In today’s challenging economic climate more children than ever are turning to our charity for support. As CEO I want to show my commitment and passion for what we do by taking on this challenge.

Everyone in this ride is covering their own costs – which means every penny you donate goes to our charity and deserving children. It’s going to be an endurance test for me like nothing I’ve done before. But knowing the benefit my efforts will bring to children who are in great need makes it so very worth it.
