Story
It’s been a few years since I’ve really stepped outside my comfort zone, and as I’m fast approaching 50, I decided it was time to tick something huge off my bucket list.
In 2027, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon—my very first marathon. I’ve never run the full 26.2 miles before, so this will undoubtedly be the biggest physical and mental challenge I’ve ever taken on.
I’ve chosen to run in aid of Crimestoppers UK, a charity that means a great deal to me. Working in police forensics, I see firsthand how important it is for victims of crime to receive justice. For decades, Crimestoppers UK has played a vital role in helping bring offenders to justice by giving people a safe and anonymous way to share information, helping to make our communities safer.
Training starts now, and I know there will be plenty of highs and lows along the way, but I’m determined to give it everything I’ve got.
If you’d like to support me and this fantastic cause, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a difference. Thank you for your support—it really does mean the world.
🏃♂️ Bring on London Marathon 2027!
