After raising thousands of pounds with colleagues for this foundation in 2021 I thought it was time to do something else for them after losing my own retired police dog Harper last year in 2024.

I will be walking 2hrs and rest for 2hrs for a total of 24hrs from 0600hrs Saturday 2nd August into Sunday 3rd August 2025

Lets help retired police dogs across the UK

The Thin Blue Paw Foundation was launched in 2020 to support serving and retired police dogs across the United Kingdom. After a lifetime of service, police dogs are not afforded a pension in retirement, meaning that the responsibility for their care and the cost of their vet bills falls solely on their ex-handler or new owner. Since our launch, we have helped over 150 retired police dogs, covering £330,000 worth of veterinary and rehabilitation care.
