Story
On April 6th this year, we will mark a poignant milestone: six years since my daughter Annika was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma at just two and a half years old. To honour her incredible journey and relentless fight, I am participating in the London Landmarks Half Marathon, accompanied by a few friends for moral support.
Annika's current stability is thanks to a miraculous drug called Lorlatinib. Our path has been fraught with countless challenges and significant trauma, but we have persevered. Over the past six months, we have successfully raised funds to support a research project in Cambridge. Now, we are looking ahead to the next crucial step: funding a potential cure that can proceed to clinical trials.
Our goal is to raise money to support this trial, with the hope of saving Annika and the many friends we have met along this journey who share the same condition. Your generosity can make a profound difference. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.
For those who haven't had the pleasure of meeting Annika, she is a formidable force of nature. Despite the unimaginable hardships she has faced, she continues to emerge with a radiant smile. Please join us in supporting this cause and helping us find a cure for Annika and others like her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
