Story
We want to raise money, so that the staff at Manorlands Hospice can provide the love and care to other families, that they gave Jack and our family, during Jack’s stay at the hospice. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us all. It isn’t just the patient who’s important, it’s everyone, and that care doesn’t end when the loved one passes, as they provide bereavement support to anybody who wishes to take that support too.
Lisa and I are taking part in the 10k hike, on the 11th October, with a target of £200, and we’d really appreciate any donations to this worthy cause. So, thank you, in advance, for all you help in reaching this target.
We will be eternally grateful for everything they did for our precious Jack.
Sue Ryder Starlight Hike is a series of 5k or 10k walks this October. They provide an opportunity to get together with family and friends under the stars to celebrate the life of someone special and help ensure no one faces death or grief alone.
Every year our Sue Ryder Nurses and bereavement professionals provide care and support to thousands of people facing their darkest days. But we can't do it without you.
Through sponsorship, you can help make every step count towards compassionate and expert end-of-life care and grief support for families in need.
£6 could pay for favourite breakfast for a patient being cared for in one of our hospices.
£30 could fund an hour of expert care, so our Sue Ryder doctors and nurses can help manage patients’ pain and symptoms.
£75 could help provide a vital Online Bereavement Counselling Service for someone who needs reassurance guidance and support.
