Chelmsford Legal Walk 2024 · 23 May 2024

The Access to Justice Foundation is the UK’s only national charity solely focused on providing funding and support for access to legal advice and representation. We raise funds and distribute them strategically to organisations that provide free legal advice to the most vulnerable in society.

Story

As every year I am helping to organise the Chelmsford 10km Legal Walk. This year it will be taking place on 23 May 2024.

The purpose of the walk is to raise money for legal charities that do such important work to help prevent families being made homeless, prevent destitution, help older people gain the support they are entitled, and help women and children suffering from domestic abuse. As you can imagine, these causes have been particularly hit by the rise in cost of living which is why it is so important to raise as much as we can to help out.

Those who attend the walk will be able to hear at first hand the chief officer of the Chelmsford Citizens Advice Bureau explain the benefits of the monies raised in the previous years to the service they are able to provide.

It would be wonderful if you could donate and encourage others to donate, as every penny will help! Thank you for your support!
