Story
Dervla was an inspiration. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022; and for 4 years, through many ups & downs she kept on smiling and fighting through the hurdles that came her way; including walking over 140 miles in her own Cancer Focus NI fundraiser. She was a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, and a dear friend.
Throughout her journey, Dervla received wonderful support from Cancer Focus NI and she was a keen supporter of the charity herself. That is why 40 of her family and friends are gathering together to run, skip or walk this 5k fun run in her memory.
Please support us in any way you can. Any donation no matter how big or small will go towards helping women and families in Northern Ireland affected by cancer.

The PINK RUN is back for on Sunday 11th October at Titanic Slipways and you’re all invited! Get covered head and toe in pink powder at our 5k fun run for a fantastic cause.
Every week in Northern Ireland, another 30 women receive a breast cancer diagnosis. This is one of the most devastating moments anyone can experience, either for themselves or for someone they love. However, it does not have to be a lonely journey. By fundraising for our charity this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, you will help us be there for the 1 in 8 local women who will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. That could be your mother, wife, daughter, sister, or colleague.
