🏃♂️ I’m Running the 2026 London Marathon for Hope House Children’s Hospices – and I Need Your Help!
Hi everyone,
At 60 years young (yes, you read that right!), I’ve decided to take on something that both terrifies and excites me in equal measure: running the 2026 London Marathon.
Why? Because I believe in doing something bold to support something beautiful — and that something is Hope House Children’s Hospices.
Hope House provides care and support to children with life-threatening conditions, and their families, when they need it most. Their work is deeply moving, and it makes a difference every single day. I wanted to do my bit to help them continue doing theirs.
This marathon isn’t just 26.2 miles — it’s a journey of training runs, early mornings, sore legs, and plenty of doubt… but also purpose, hope, and a lot of heart.
I might not be the fastest, and I’ll probably make friends with a few blisters along the way, but I’m determined to cross that finish line. And every step I take will be powered by your kindness and support.
So please — if you can — sponsor me. Whether it’s the price of a pint or a fancy coffee, it all goes towards helping Hope House be there for the families who need them.
Let’s turn sweat into support and miles into meaningful change.
Thank you ❤️
