Lisa's Sky Dive for Leonard Cheshire - St Helens & Kings Dock Mill

Sky Dive for St Helens and Kings Dock Mill · 3 October 2024
Hi Everyone,
I’m Lisa, a Supported Living Manager at Leonard Cheshire. I currently oversea two services in Merseyside, St Helens and Kings Dock Mill.
As someone who’s been with Leonard Cheshire for 11 years and worked my way up in a variety of roles, this is a cause very close to my heart. I’m always looking for ways to make sure our tenants get the most out of their time with us.
As a charity, funding extra activities for our resident outside of their day-to-day support can be difficult and that’s why I want to take the leap and jump into some fundraising… quite literally!
On 3rd October 2024 I will be skydiving out of a plane to raise some funds for these 2 independent living facilities. This is an exciting yet scary challenge, but I’m committed to showcase my support and give back to our wonderful residents.
I care deeply about what I do and always looking for new ways to give back to our residents. In the past I’ve personally gifted Christmas presents and created the magic of Christmas for those that can’t go home over the festive period. I truly do care for these people, and if jumping from a 10,000 feet doesn’t show that I don’t know what will!
I have funded this sky dive myself so all amounts raised will be split evenly between St Helens and Kings Dock Mills, and will go directly to providing activities like, days outs, arts and crafts, entertainers and more.
Any amounts you can donate would make a world of difference. I understand times are tough, so contributions of all sizes are welcomed and appreciated, no matter how big or small. Thank you so much, lets get jumping!
