CoppaTrek! with Gi - Jurassic Coast 2026 · 6 June 2026 to 12 June 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

This June, our fabulous CoppaFeel! trekkers will be taking on 100km over 5 days in the Jurassic Coast, all in the name of chest checking!

Story

In early 2025, I found a lump in my breast. At 40, healthy and with no family history, cancer was the last thing on my mind, but a few weeks later I heard the words no one is ever prepared for: “You have breast cancer.”

What followed was a whirlwind of appointments, seven rounds of chemotherapy, surgery in January 2026, and the most physically and emotionally challenging time of my life. It turned everything upside down, but it also showed me just how important early detection is. Finding that lump when I did may have saved my life.

That’s why I’m taking on a 5-day trek along the Jurassic Coast in 2026 with a group of amazing women. A total distance of 100K to raise funds for the UK’s only youth-focused breast cancer awareness charity. Their mission is simple but powerful: to make sure every young person knows how to check their chest and has the confidence to see a GP if something doesn’t feel right.

CoppaFeel! educates young people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, visits schools and universities, runs life-saving awareness campaigns, and empowers people to advocate for themselves. Because when breast cancer is found early, treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection truly saves lives.

Your donation will help fund this vital work, reaching more people with the knowledge that could one day protect them or someone they love.

💗 What your support could do:

• £10 could help provide educational materials that teach young people what to look for and how to check

• £20 could help CoppaFeel! reach more schools, colleges, and communities with life-saving awareness talks

• £50+ could support campaigns that encourage thousands of people to check themselves regularly

• Any amount helps spread awareness, fund support services, and ultimately save lives

I know times are tough, so there is absolutely no pressure but if you are able to donate, share, or cheer me on, it would mean the world. Every pound brings us closer to a future where fewer lives are turned upside down by a late diagnosis.

Thank you for supporting this challenge and helping turn my experience into something positive for others 💕
