I'm taking on the challenge of swimming 22 miles – the length of the English Channel – in support of St Giles Hospice.

Starting on 1/5/26 I'm aiming to have made it to France in time for Bastille Day - le quatorze juillet (14/7/26)

This swim is inspired by the work of St Giles and particularly by a colleague, and friend who were touched by their work.

St Giles Hospice spend close to £10 million a year providing their specialist services. With, on average, between 20-25% of this funded by the Government, they rely heavily on donations and income generation from the local community.
