Story
My gorgeous daughter, Charlie Mcguile, is taking part in a 25km walk in London next weekend to raise money for Marie Curie. It is a charity close to our heart as they were so helpful to us when my wonderful mum, June Hudson, was dying from pancreatic cancer.
I decided I wanted to support Charlie in her walk so I shall do the same distance, at the same time- which means just over 5 laps of the UN camp I am working in, in Juba, South Sudan (note it is not safe to walk outside of the UN camp!).
My walk will be lonely, boring, and probably hot and sticky (or I could get very wet as it is the rainy season), but I shall be doing it in memory of my wonderful mum and in support of Charlie. Any support would be hugely appreciated.
