🌿 Calliope’s Litter-Picking Challenge! 🌿

Helping keep Oldfield Park clean — one piece at a time

My name is Calliope, and next week I’m taking on a special challenge:

✨ I’m picking up 100 pieces of litter on my way to and from school along the Linear Park.

I’m doing this to help make our neighbourhood cleaner, to help the environment and to support local wildlife — I also hope to inspire other children to do the same!

Thanks to this challenge, we’ve already been able to provide two litter pickers for every class at Oldfield Park Junior School, so children across the school can now join in. Each week, two pupils will be able to take the litter pickers home with a pledge to collect 100 pieces of litter too.

Every donation helps buy new litter pickers and supports eco projects — multiplying the effort and helping more young people care for our environment. 💚

We now have enough litter pickers for every class at Oldfield Park Junior School, so from this point onward all money raised will go towards eco initiatives at OPJS and towards gifting two litter pickers per class to other schools in the Palladian Trust, helping us multiply our efforts and expand the positive impact on our local environment.
