Story
1 in 7 babies born in the UK every year will need specialist care — just like ‘Little Laurie’ ❤️
So for World Prematurity Month we wanted to help other parents with babies in NICU to continue accessing support services, by raising money for a charity called Bliss, who held us through our own tough journey.
On November 16th a few of us walked from St.Heliers hospital to his home in Carshalton on a sponsored “Little Laurie’s Little Lights Walk ✨”
The 3.1k route replicated the last leg of his neonatal journey when he finally came home, 3 months and 1 day after he was born, and mirrored the official annual Lights Walk when people come together to light up streets and hope for all the NICU warriors.
For the remainder of November we are continuing to collect donations and ask that you please consider sparing some change — a little from each of us will make a huge difference.

Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick, and they rely solely on donations to help reach the 90,000 babies and their families who end up needing neonatal care each year.
Your donation will help Bliss to drive improvements in the care, ensuring the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and provide information and support to the whole family, many of whom will be experiencing it for the first time.
