Story
1 in 7 babies born in the UK every year will need specialist care — just like our lovely ‘Little Laurie’ ❤️
So for World Prematurity Month we wanted to help other parents with babies in neonatal care (NICU) by raising money for the charity Bliss, who helped us through our own tough journey into parenthood.
On November 16th some of our family joined us as we walked from St.Heliers hospital to his home in Carshalton on a sponsored “✨ Little Laurie’s Little Lights Walk ✨”. The 3.1k route replicated the last leg of his neonatal journey when he finally came home, 3 months and 1 day after he was born.
We are continuing to collect donations for the remainder of 2025, and ask that you consider sparing some change — a little from each of us makes a huge difference.

Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick, and they rely solely on donations to help reach the 90,000 babies and their families who end up needing neonatal care each year.
Your donation will help Bliss to drive improvements in care, ensuring the needs of babies are at the heart of policy and planning for the future, and enable them to continue providing information and support to their families, many of who will be experiencing it for the first time.
