Story
I'm raising money in aid of Beat Eating Disorders - whose mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders.
This is a charity very close to home for me. As many of you know I suffered from an eating disorder for many years of my life and for a long time this was something I was incredibly ashamed of due to the incredibly negative stereotypes surrounding mental health. I felt alone, isolated and like nobody understood. And since I recovered, I’ve made it my mission to help make sure nobody else has to feel this way. This is also part of BEAT’S mission.
Experiencing and overcoming an eating disorder was the single-handedly scariest experience of my life, and going through that trauma has made me pretty fearless…. But I do have a few fears. One of which is skydiving. So… This year I’m joining BEAT in their BIG JUMP to raise money for charity.
So whether you want the entertainment of watching my terrified face jump out of a plane OR you simply want to support an essential charity… like I do. Please, donate what you can. Every donation no matter how small, is appreciated.
