We are happy to host our sixth annual Live@thecottage25 concert in support of the Huntsville Hospital Foundation (HHF). It has grown to become a dynamic and fun evening of music under the stars. In the process we have raised over $63,000 for HHF. Our goal is to top $80,000 in 2025.

The L@C band has developed into an multi-genre and instrument group led by local favourite TOBIN SPRING. The core band features outstanding female vocalist Milli Kent, saxman Kawagama Joe with your host Andy chipping in a wee bit. We play classic favorites, and always add a surprise or two. This year we will have fiddle player Wayne Ferguson along to add to the vibe. Our cottage has great acoustics and is overlooking beautiful Lake of Bays, so you can just sit back and enjoy the experience.

On the HHF Board I have learned about the need for vital medical equipment to keep pace with technology. Hospitals do not get funding from the province for capital equipment. The cost of new equipment comes from your donated dollars. Last year we fundraised for a MRI and this year its for a CT scan: two illuminating campaigns which will help improve diagnosis and speed recoveries. We’re building toward something even bigger, a new, state-of-the-art hospital to serve our growing community and take healthcare to the next level.
