I'm Liv and I'm running the Cardiff Half Marathon in October for Vale Domestic Abuse Services.

Vale Domestic Abuse Services create lasting change in the Vale

of Glamorgan, making sure domestic abuse, sexual violence, and

any other form of violence against women, children and girls

cannot – and will not – be excused. Our mission is to give hope to

all those affected by domestic abuse in the hope that life can be

different.

The funds raised by our generous supporters enable us to provide

life-affirming care for survivors of violence and abuse. This

includes counselling services, homeware ‘new start’ packs for

women and families entering refuge and holistic wellbeing and

empowerment sessions.

We are dedicated to supporting survivors to create fulfilled, safe

lives and to create transformative, lasting change in the Vale of

Glamorgan community.
