Story
I’m taking on a serious challenge this September and October: running three ultra marathons of just over 30 miles each, with each one climbing one of the UK’s most iconic peaks — Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Scafell Pike, and Ben Nevis — to raise money for a cause that means the world to me: Harley’s Hounds Animal Rescue.
These aren’t your average races — we’re talking steep ascents, long miles, and Autumnal weather in Scotland, Wales and the Lakes. Each route is an ultra in its own right, and I’ll be tackling all three as a personal trilogy to support the animals who need it most.
Harley’s Hounds is a small, dedicated rescue doing big work — saving animals from neglect, abandonment and in need. They rely entirely on donations to keep going.
I want to help them save more lives. And I’m asking for your support.
Whether it’s £2 or £20, your donation will go directly to Harley’s Hounds to pay towards - amongst other things:
• Vet bills
• Food (and other necessities like cat litter)
• Foster support and rehoming
My goal is to raise £900 — that’s £300 for each peak. If I raise more, even better! Every penny helps.
If you can’t donate, a share of this page means the world too. Thank you for helping me run for rescue. 🐶 🐱 💛
