Story
On Saturday 21st June myself and five friends are walking 26.2 miles along the Giant’s Causeway to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
All of us have been affected by cancer, losing loved ones and good friends. My teammate Steph, who I’m walking with, had breast cancer while my daughter Bea endured two years of treatment.
Macmillan built the Cancer Centre at London’s University College Hospital where Bea had her treatment and provides much-needed medical, practical and emotional support for people living with cancer.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It’s Macmillan’s goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can’t do this without donations from people like you.
We’d be so grateful for any donations to reach our target.
Thank you.
