To celebrate turning 60 in October 2025, I have set myself the challenge of running a half marathon every month....well actually 13 in total. I do all of my training runs with my rescue dog, Rhys the Pointer, but obviously he can't take part in big events like Manchester Half, or even Barcelona Half in February (even though he's Spanish 😊). And so, in November, we are both taking part in a UK Canicross event - a half marathon in the Welsh mountains. There will be 130 dogs accompanied by their 130 humans/food carriers.

I would love to raise a little bit of money to say thankyou to SEBPRA for everything they do. Rhys is our 4th rescue from them, and my second running buddy - our first SEBPRA pointer was Rollo the legendary running dog who helped me train for London Marathon last year, but who died suddenly just days before it took place. So this is not just for SEBPRA, it's also in memory of my very best original boy Rollo ❤️
