I found a lump in my breast, following a biopsy I was diagnosed with breast cancer the week before Christmas 2024. The news I’d always dreaded as I’d lost my mum to it when I was young. Everything moves fast, you feel like you’re on a runaway train you can’t get off. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I asked myself at the beginning, how do other people handle this? The answer is you shape your own journey and that journey can look any way you want it to. I chose to make it as positive, life reinforcing and joyful as possible. Though I initially felt like I had been catapulted into a parallel universe, without my daily exercise routine or work to ground me, I’m starting to reclaim my life. I try to make the treatment plan just a small piece of my world and to allow the rest of life to be bigger and better. Help me to raise much needed funds for Alice’s Titty Trot chosen Charities.

When faced with cancer at the age of 24 Alice was dealt with either fight of flight mode, luckily she chose to hit the ground running with fight mode and despite her continuous treatment, surgeries and very much survival mode she chose to fundraise, having raised over £350,000 since her diagnosis of breast cancer 2.5 years ago, her fundraising journey continues and only gets stronger for 3 local charities close to her heart! The Titty Trot is to raise money for Nottingham breast cancer research, where you can run or walk, 5 or 10K, to show the importance of moving the body, getting outside, coming together to show that despite everything, we are stronger than cancer!
