In 2 weeks time it will be 3 years since Daz went for his forever sleep and I made a promise to him that his 'fight' would never be in vain and the true bravery and courage he showed would never be forgotten.

Cancer is 6 letters that form a word. A pretty indiscriminate word that in reality causes so much devastation and heartbreak. The statistics now say 1:2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Unfortunately for Daz he was the "1 in our 2'.

Daz lived a 'clean' life. He didn't drink, had never smoked, his only vice being a 'spicy curry'. Sadly his cancer was extremely aggressive and his fight relentless but he never ever ever gave up ‘hope’.

The Anti-Cancer Association is again the chosen charity for this year's fundraiser. It gives patients ‘hope’ through research, early detection and awareness through initiatives that help educate on symptoms and prevention whilst also providing support for those affected by cancer.

So….. for this year…. I have decided to ‘attempt’ a 24 hr sponsored silence!

Yep you ‘heard’ that right (pardon the pun!)….. for a whole 24 hours this ordinarily chatty Scouse-bird will aim to not ‘whisper a word’! 🤣🤣

If I had a penny for every ‘there’s no way’, ‘you’ll never do it’ or ‘you’re having a laugh’ comment I have received when mentioning this rather ‘achievable’ feat, I’d have hit my target already! 🤣

I totally appreciate times are testing and money is tight but any donation would be ever so gratefully received. Trust me, you’ll never get any better value for money than paying to shut me up! 🤣🤐
