Raising money for your local NHS charity helps support better care at your local hospitals, making improvements that will benefit your family, friends and local community. With your help they can buy additional innovative medical equipment.

As Project Manager for the hospital’s new Diagnostic Centre, Liz wanted to raise money personally towards a new MRI scanner and new CT scanners which will be installed there funded by the charity.

The new building will have 5 MRI scanners, 4 CT scanners, 2 X-ray rooms and 2 Ultrasound rooms and will benefit many patients who are referred to the hospital. In particular, there will be more diagnostic capacity for our cancer and heart patients. 

It’s really important to support this charity as it will fund the 'extras', over and above what the NHS must or should fund, and your help makes all of that possible.
