UPDATE 21st JUNE 2026

What an amazing event. So well organised. Fantastic weather. And so many people walking in memory of loved ones. And all for for such a wonderful hospice, Loros we thank you.

In total amazement, Rachel, Cat, Emily, Agnes and myself, have raised a staggering £995 (can we get to the £1k?🤔)

✨️We would like to thank you all for supporting us throughout the event. Your donations (whatever the amount) will make a huge difference to the many people who will sadly travel that same journey that we did with Hazel. But we can all sleep a little easier knowing that we are helping those who will have to deal with Loros in the future. ✨️

✨ The LOROS Twilight Walk – Glitter & Glow Edition! ✨

As many of you will know, we lost our amazing mum (& sister) last year due to pancreatic cancer. During her illness Hazel spent 2 periods of time as an inpatient at Loros, and also visited numerous times as a day patient, where they provided her the best care possible.

This year, myself along with Cathryn, mums 2 granddaughters Emily and Agnes, and her youngest sister, Liz, we will be joining in the Loros Twilight Walk to raise money to help with the amazing service they provide.

We will be lighting up the streets of Leicester on Saturday 20th June for the flagship 10k sponsored LOROS Twilight Walk 2026.

Everyone involved will be walking in memory of loved ones, singing, dancing, and soaking up the fantastic entertainment along the route. Expect hundreds of walkers shining in their brightest, glitteriest outfits — the more glow, the better! ✨

We can’t wait to be part of an unforgettable evening of light, laughter, and community spirit — all for an incredible cause.
