As children across the UK come to the end of their summer holidays, filled with fun, trips at home and abroad and happy memories, there are currently 4.2 million children living in poverty right now, who have had a very different experience this year.

On the 6th of October, a team of Arcadians and myself will leave their beds to spend the night on the streets of London, at any given time there are over 110,000 homeless children in the UK, while we are only only spending a single night in the cold - for many children and teens, homelessness, neglect and abuse are plights they face everyday.

We are raising money for, Action for Children, they help disadvantaged children across the UK, from before they are born until they are into their twenties. They help them through fostering or adoption – and by intervening early to stop neglect and abuse. They make life better for disabled children and we influence policy and advocate for change.
