Story
To celebrate my 75th birthday, I'm jumping out of a plane…strapped to a hunk!! I will be taking on this life-changing challenge and skydiving for KEMP Hospice on Sunday 17th August 2025!
When Paul was so desperately ill with Cancer, KEMP supported me in looking after him. After Paul passed away in 2022, KEMP supported me through bereavement counselling with the wonderful Katy, for which I am so grateful. I was determined to repay KEMP's support and kindness and finally in August 2023, I started to volunteer at the Hospice during creative art therapy sessions on a Friday afternoon, following my love of crafts with my business, from which I'm retired.
In my volunteer role, I now see first-hand the amazing work KEMP does every day with their patients. I'm proud to be a part of the KEMP team!
I would be grateful for any donations, big or small anything is appreciated. If you’d prefer to donate with cash, please contact me directly.
Finally, if you’d like to be part of my supporter team on the day, please feel free to come and see me with my hunk as I raise important funds for KEMP whilst having great fun!
Each foot I fall and penny I raise will help support people in the Wyre Forest and surrounding community facing progressive life-limiting illnesses and the challenges of bereavement.
KEMP relies on the support of its generous community to ensure it can provide its services to everyone who needs them, completely free of charge, now and in the future
