I am swimming the English Channel with our relay team 'Aspire Badgers' in August 2025!

300 swimmers attempt it each year with a success rate of 40 -50%. This compared to 800 people attempting Everest a year!

As per the Channel Swimming Association rules, I shall be wearing my swimming cossie, goggles and hat only, and I hope very much that there are minimal jellyfish🪼 I also hope that the wind, weather, currents and tides will be kind and give us the best chance of success 🏊‍♂️🌀🌊.

I will be training very hard, both in the pool and sea, making sure I am acclimatised to the cold and fit enough for the conditions.
