My brother and I have decided to run the Cardiff Half marathon.

I guess in hard times you want to do something to try and help. Thats why we are running for Marie Curie. They truly are worth their weight in gold.

They managed to put a smile on our faces when dad was very Poorly. This is our way of saying thank you and to ensure they can continue to help other families.

For everyone who knew and loved our dad will know he was a man of little words. But a most selfless man he was.

We run in loving memory of him. I’m sure if we could tell him we were running for him, he would say “why the hell you running for me for?”

This run means a lot to us, as it’s our way of giving back to Marie Curie, a charity that was there for us during some of our toughest moments.

Marie Curie provided our dad with incredible care and support, making a difficult time a bit more bearable. We want to raise £500 to help them continue their amazing work for other families going through similar challenges.

Running 13.1 miles won’t be easy, but it’s nothing compared to what our dad faced, and we’re determined to do this in his memory. Your support, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and help Marie Curie provide comfort to more families in need.
