In December 2024 I lost my mum to Alzheimer's disease. In the last week of her life, she was cared for at home by the amazing nurses from The Shakespeare Hospice. I am running my first (and probably only) half marathon in mum's memory, and to raise funds for the Hospice so that they can continue their amazing work and so that other families will receive the comfort and support that was so precious to us.
