My fundraising year for Macmillan Cancer Support

A year of fundraising · 24 February 2024
So, the initial thought of a a fundraising event for Macmillan was for our lovely friend Claire, who sadly passed away in October 2022.
I then lost my Daddy Thomas Frost, on the 10th of February 2023, 5 days after his 75th birthday, and only 25 day after finding out he had lesions in his liver, kidneys, and lungs. My whole world was ripped apart, my Dad was my Dad, he was my Mum and my best friend.
I know there’s a million and one story’s similar to mine, and unfortunately there is going to be a million and one more in the future, but I want to turn my negative into a positive, and to help as much as possible because well in every negative there’s a positive, right…
I’ve already managed ti raise £3400 (with the help of friends. by hosting a race night. I want to get this to 4K, so have decided to do various things throughout the next year or so 💚 every penny helps 💚
