On Sunday April 26th, I’ll be running the 2026 TCS London Marathon in support of Marie Curie, a charity that means so much to me and my family.

Marie Curie supported my late mother-in-law, Olwen, with such compassion and dignity during an incredibly difficult time. The care they gave her, and the support they gave us is something we will always be grateful for. I know that if she were here, she’d be waiting at the finish line with a warm hug and a cup of tea, cheering me on every step of the way.

Running 26.2 miles (42km) is a huge personal challenge. My kids say that I run “weird” and go bright red (they’re not wrong there!), but I do have grit and determination and a very strong reason to reach that finish line.
