March 2027 will mark 10 years since my beautiful mummy passed away, so in her memory, my brother and I are running the London Marathon to raise money for Princess Alice Hospice – a charity that will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Running a marathon is something I never imagined I'd be able to do, but my mum always taught me that I can do anything I set my mind to. Whenever I feel like giving up, I'll remember her strength (and terrifying stubbornness to do well at everything) and know she'll be with me every step of the way.

When my mum became really ill, Princess Alice Hospice cared for her incredibly during the final nine days of her life. They gave us comfort, support, and precious time together that we'll never forget. Their care is completely free, but it costs over £12.3 million each year to provide their services, and they rely heavily on donations to make this possible.
