Following the huge success of our first Big Breakfast in November 2024, we are delighted to be hosting our second Prostate Cymru Big Breakfast this year, with the incredible support of our local community.

Our first breakfast was a fantastic success, and we were overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who attended, donated and supported us through JustGiving. Together, we raised approximately £7500 for Prostate Cymru.

The Big Breakfast is a social fundraising event which helps raise awareness and essential funds for the amazing work Prostate Cymru delivers throughout Wales.

Time: 8am – 11am

Place: Cae William, Llandeilo Rugby Club

All funds raised for Prostate Cymru through local events like ours stay in Wales. They help fund vital awareness work, as well as research into prostate health, with the aim of finding more effective and kinder treatments for men across Wales affected by prostate conditions.

This cause is particularly close to our hearts.

Our Dad and Dacs, Brian Evans, has had his own personal journey with prostate cancer and, since then, has gone above and beyond to volunteer with Prostate Cymru and raise awareness of prostate cancer, helping and supporting other men who may find themselves taking the same steps he did.

Both our Mum and Dad have also dedicated so much of their time to volunteering with Prostate Cymru. Sadly, we recently lost our Mum, Margaret, and although this year’s breakfast will be incredibly different without her, it feels more important than ever to continue something that meant so much to her and Dad.

As a family, this is our small way of giving back and showing our eternal gratitude to Prostate Cymru for the support, awareness and work they provide to families like ours.

So, please come along, bring your family and friends, enjoy a good Welsh breakfast and a cup of coffee, and most importantly, help us raise as much as we can for this incredibly important cause.
