Running for Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity
Hi everyone,
My name is Lloyd, and I am a Community First Responder (CFR) for Yorkshire Ambulance Service. On 26th September, I will be taking part in a 5K Inflatable Run to raise money for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity.
This challenge means a lot to me personally. Over the last few years, I have been on a journey to improve my health, losing a significant amount of weight and overcoming a number of health problems along the way. There was a time when taking part in an event like this would have felt impossible, but thanks to hard work, determination, and support from those around me, I am now in a position where I feel able to do it.
Not only is this my first run since losing the weight and improving my health, but it is also an opportunity to give back to a charity that supports the incredible work carried out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service every day.
As a Community First Responder, I have seen firsthand the difference that rapid emergency care and community support can make to people's lives. The Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity helps provide vital resources, support for staff, volunteers, patients, and local communities across Yorkshire.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support this amazing work and motivate me as I tackle the inflatable obstacles and complete the 5K challenge.
Thank you for your support, generosity, and encouragement. Together, we can make a real difference.
Please donate if you can and help me support Yorkshire Ambulance Service Charity.
