On Saturday 22nd June , collectively as a team we will be completing a full marathon (26.2 miles) walk from Lloyd & Co Employee Benefits North Office visiting local villages throughout Southport, Formby and Liverpool.

Queenscourt Hospice is our local charity that provides support for approx. 235,000 people of West Lancashire, Southport and Formby. They provide access to specialist palliative care via the Inpatient Unit or as Outpatient.

Queenscourt Hospice has an holistic approach to Palliative Care to ensure patients have their physical, psychologist, spiritual and social care needs assessed and to provide access to a multi professional health care team for specialist support.

The cost for Queenscourt to provide such comprehensive care is £444 per hour which is exceptionally high considering that Queenscourt receives less than 20% of its funding from the NHS.
