Story
One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. It’s a disease that doesn’t discriminate — it can affect anyone, at any age, at any time. Despite being the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been dedicated to brain tumours since 2002. That’s not enough. And that’s why we run.
In April 2024, our world changed forever when Stuart, a loving husband, father, brother, and friend lost his courageous three-year battle with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma. Stuart faced every challenge with strength, humour, and heart, inspiring everyone around him. His warmth and love continue to guide us every single day.
In his honour, Stuart’s daughters, Daisy and Mollie, along with two of his closest friends, Frank and Claire, took on the 2025 London Marathon to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research. It was a true test of endurance — mentally and physically — but nothing compared to what Stuart went through! With every KM, we felt the power of your support and Stuart’s spirit pushing us forward. We’re so deeply grateful to everyone who donated, cheered us on, and helped us make a difference.
But we’re not stopping there. 💗
This year, we’re back — stronger, more determined, and still running for Stuart. In 2026, Daisy, Mollie, and Frank are lacing up again, joined by Alise, to continue raising money for Brain Tumour Research.
Your donation means the world to us. It funds the science that gives families hope, the research that brings us closer to a cure, and the legacy that ensures people like Stuart are never forgotten.
Together, we run for research. We run for hope. We run for Stu. 🧡
