On the afternoon of 30th April, we will hosting the 1st ever LMSS Colour Dash in Wavertree Park!! A fun run of a 2.5k loop that can be repeated as many times as runners wish, filled with colours along the way. Show your support for the runners and our two incredible charities: Claire House and The Brain Charity.

This is our final charity event for the 24-25 year and we'd love to break the £10k mark for our fundraising, so please dig deep and support our incredible charities!! Read on to find out what they do and how your donations can help.

This event is in collaboration with:

Recovery runners: An all inclusive running community open to anyone that is in recovery from any type of illness, mental health, addiction, homelessness, domestic violence, loneliness or just looking for to get fit. They’ll be leading you around the course, keeping spirits up. Follow them on Instagram!(@therecoverygroup_)

Claire House is a children’s hospice and palliative care service. They help seriously and terminally ill children and their families, live life to the full.

How your donations help:

£25 - Funds specialist nursing care to help families spend last days together

£40 - Funds butterfly suite care to support families with their final goodbyes

£60 - Funds counselling sessions for bereaved parents and siblings

Other donations - Help keep the doors open to the Wirral and Liverpool sites

The Brain Charity helps people with all sorts of neurological conditions to rebuild their lives. Their services include counselling, a Neuro Gym and social groups.

How your donations help:

£3 - Supports monthly coffee mornings

£5 - Funds a weekly class, workshop or social activity

£10 - Funds weekly phone calls for those feeling isolated and lonely

£50- Funds 1-1 counselling sessions for those struggling with their mental health
