I am raising funds for Innerleithen Pipe Band's PipeBand-A-Thon 2025 campaign.

Innerleithen Pipe Band, based in Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders, offers opportunities for children, young people, and adults to come together and play bagpipes and drums in pipe band competition and other events such as local festivals.

One pipe chanter reed costs £15.00, one pair of drumsticks costs £15.00, the average cost of a coach hire to competitions is £825.00 – these and many other costs just like them make up the running costs of Innerleithen Pipe Band. Last year the Band spent just over £31,000.00 in keeping itself going.

Entirely self-funded, the band is fundraising via its annual PipeBand-A-Thon to support its work by providing musical instruments, uniforms and tuition as well as covering all the running costs of a functioning pipe band.
