Story
Ben, Nicky, Finley and Jacob: A family torn apart when Finley developed JMML, a very rare form of Leukaemia. Finley battled his illness heroically, undergoing 3 Stem Cell Transplants. Despite amazing care, he could not be cured and passed away 6th December 2021 aged 8.
Finley touched everyone he met. He continues to inspire us and the charity has been set up in his name to support others going through similar situations
What began with support for children in selected wards at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and The Royal Alexandra in Brighton has grown into something truly special. Today, we’re proud to reach paediatric oncology units across Surrey, Sussex, Kent, and Hampshire.
Having a seriously ill child in hospital is incredibly tough—on the body, the mind and the budget. Our mission is simple but powerful:
💜 To Spread Fun, Hope and Happiness.
We do this by:
Providing Hospital Survival Bags filled with practical and comforting items for long stays.
Offering annual financial grants to families throughout their child’s treatment.
Issuing National Trust family memberships to encourage outdoor time, wellbeing, and precious moments together.
As we grow, so does our ambition. We’re not yet able to support every family across the UK—but with your help, we believe there’s no limit to how far Finley’s Touch can reach
