Story
I am fundraising for Marie Curie in memory of my mum, who died from breast cancer at the age of 49.
Marie Curie provides essential care and support for people living with terminal illness, as well as for their families. Their nurses and hospice teams help ensure people receive compassionate, dignified care at the end of life.
To honour my mum’s memory, I have set myself a personal challenge to complete a marathon before the age of 50. As part of this challenge, I will be running the Farnborough Half Marathon on 8th February, followed by the Brighton Marathon on 12th April.
This challenge is both a physical and emotional one, marking a milestone my mum never had the chance to reach. Every donation will help Marie Curie continue their vital work, supporting patients and families when they need it most.
Thank you very much for your support!
