As some of you may know, Jack’s Mum (Ceri) battled with multiple health issues over the recent few years and sadly passed away in early 2024. She spent a few days in the Rowans hospice where she got spend time with family and was cared for by the staff.

The Rowans were amazing in comforting not only their patients but families and loved ones too. They provided a separate area for children to play as well as a memorial full of names of patients to be remembered.

Me and Jack have decided we are going to take part in the Rowans hospice Shining Stars walk. We will be walking 8 miles around Portsmouth at night time to raise money for the Rowans Hospice.

Our goal is to raise around £300 (hopefully more🤞🏻) for the Rowans. With donation money this means they could provide extra care and support to new patients and help them to take more people into their care.
