Hi everyone!

My name is Lola and I am 9 years old. On Saturday the 29th April my dad and me are going to climb Ben Lomond! We are doing this to try and raise £200 for Beatson Cancer Charity.

This charity is very close to my heart. My great grandpa has been fighting cancer for over 5 years, and has received so much care and support from the Beatson. He is now in a hospice and I would love to do this for him.

It will also go towards one of my brownie badges!

Ben Lomond is 3,193ft high! That’s 974m! So my little feet will be sore once we have finished it. My dad is just coming to keep me company because apparently I’m too wee to do it by myself!
