We offer tailored programs that focus on recovery and resilience, helping individuals navigate their journey to wellness. By fostering a strong, compassionate network, we strive to create an environment where every hero feels valued and understood, ultimately aiding their path to a healthier, fulfilling life.

Story

**PTSD999 Background**

PTSD999 was set up in 2015 by friends Gary and Simon, both of whom served within the Military and Public Sector. As a result of their duties both have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

They realised that there wasn't any widely available accessible support for those serving, or who had served, within the Emergency Services, and their families, living with PTSD. So they set about creating an organisation that could provide support, source and fund treatment, training and raise awareness of the impact PTSD has on a persons life.

PTSD999 was operating as a not-for profit social enterprise since formation and in 2024 they were awarded full charity status. We are committed to supporting our Emergency Service workers and our aim is to ensure that awareness of PTSD within the Emergency Services grows and the Stigma associated with it, and other mental health conditions, is broken.

You are not alone on this journey.

**London Fire Brigade Cadets Supporting PTSD999**

On Saturday 9th August 2025, London Fire Brigade Cadets from G21 Harrow Fire Station, made up of young people and support by volunteers from the local communities of Harrow, Brent, and Ealing Boroughs, will complete their academic years learning and development with LFB. This day will see us celebrate the achievements of our young people and community volunteers at their official pass out ceremony.

Part of being an LFB Cadet is focused around the young people supporting positive social action. Our Cadets have chosen to utilise their pass out ceremony to support and raise awareness for our good friends at PTSD999. PTSD can effect anyone and PTSD999 have been fantastic supporters of all of our young people and volunteers with LFB. Now it is time to give back to a charity that is invaluable and very close to our hearts.

During the pass out ceremony, cadets and volunteer will undertake the challenge of completing 999 laps of the drill yard at G21 Harrow Fire Station, one of the biggest drill yards in LFB. Alongside this the cadets and volunteers will be spreading awareness PTSD and the services of PTSD 999 to their families and friends, the local community, and representatives from the Boroughs of Harrow, Brent, and Ealing.

Your donations in support of our young people undertaking a challenge for such a worthwhile cause and your support for PTSD999 is very much appreciated.
