The Brain Tumour Charity are the world's leading charity dedicated to research into brain tumours. Our mission is to save and improve the lives of those affected by brain tumours, develop new treatments and drive urgent change.

Story

I’ll be running the London Marathon 2026 in honour of my husband Steve, who passed away in October 2024 after a three year battle with brain cancer.

Steve was creative, funny, kind, and so full of life and love. He built our escape room business, created adventures, and made even the dullest day feel special. Watching him slowly slip away from the person he was broke my heart. Brain tumours are cruel. They change everything, not just for the person diagnosed, but for everyone who loves them.

I’ve never run a marathon before. In fact, I have only just started running! But every run, every ache, every mile is for him, and for the thousands of families going through what we did.

The Brain Tumour Charity funds vital research and provides crucial support to people facing a diagnosis. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, yet research remains desperately underfunded.

I’m running to change that.

Please donate whatever you can, every step I take will be in memory of Steve, and in hope for a future with better outcomes, more answers, and more time.
