Why am I fundraising for Northamptonshire Health Charity - when my youngest two boys were born in 2015 and 2016, they both arrived prematurely meaning myself and Lisa spent a good chunk of the 7 and 9 weeks they spent on Gosset Ward travelling back and forth to the hospital seeing the boys.

During this time we saw first hand how a rest/waiting room makeover had a positive effect on both the staff and parents alike - I can't include patients (they were both too small to notice). I remember asking the staff who funded these makeovers, and I was advised that on the whole they were funded by fundraising carried out on behalf of Northamptonshire Health Charity. So when I was given the opportunity to complete the TCS London Marathon on their behalf I jumped at the opportunity.
